The life sciences are an important player in the age of Big Data. Modern high-throughput -omics technologies produce large quantities of high-dimensional data. Besides new challenges for analysing and visualising this amount of research data, also the management and sharing has become an important point in the daily research process. The major goal of the 2019s de.NBI SummerSchool is to give an overview about possibilities for a FAIR data sharing and their benefits for data producers as well as data consumers and furthermore to provide a brief introduction to recent technologies to process and inspect these data.
