Alexander Sczyrba (Computational Metagenomics Workgroup, Bielefeld University) gives a talk about finding new genomes by sequencing the Microbial Dark Matter aka uncultivated microbial species. To analyze the huge amount of sequencing data he applied state-of-the-art tools and performed the computations on the de.NBI Cloud.

The de.NBI Cloud is free for academia. More info at https://www.denbi.de/cloud

Next to the Cloud de.NBI offers further Services and Tools as well as free Training. Visit https://www.denbi.de for more information.

The talk was given in the BiCDaS lecture series. BiCDaS is the Bielefeld Center for Data Science (https://uni-bielefeld.de/datascience).
