1. Purpose and legal basis
Your personal data will only be processed for registration in the context of the event.
The data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG-neu) and other relevant data protection regulations. The processing and use of the individual data is necessary for the following purposes:
- To hold the event and to enable you to participate.
- To send you your invitation to the event, to enable you to participate and to enable us to keep track of the invited participants.
- During the event, we record participants, their attendance, and any (voluntary) active participation in chat and surveys. This is necessary for the organization processing.

Photographs, video or audio recordings are processed for press or public relations work of the Research Centre. If publication according to §§ 22 and 23 of the German Art Copyright Act (KUG) is not relevant, an additional agreement may be made.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 I lit. f GDPR. Processing operations are based on this legal basis if the processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company, provided that your interests, fundamental rights and freedoms do not prevail.

Storage period
