The 2026 Spring Meeting, in collaboration with ELIXIR-Italy, features a dedicated PSI Standards Education Day - Metabolomics Track (May 5th) co-organized by de.NBI (ELIXIR Germany). The track covers the full lifecycle of metabolomics data:

- LC-MS/MS Analysis: Training on workflows using xcms.
- Multiomics Integration: Practical sessions on GEMs-based multiomics workflows.
- Lipidomics: Introduction and hands-on training for the LipidOne bioinformatics platform for functional lipid analysis.
- AI in Proteomics/Metabolomics: Hands-on training on authoring mzTab-M using AI agents (pymzTab-M).
- Data Deposition: Introduction to MetaboLights and practical submission training.

Learning goals:
- Master LC-MS/MS data processing using the xcms ecosystem.
- Understand and execute multiomics workflows for integrated biological analysis.
- Perform functional lipid analysis using the LipidOne platform.
- Utilize AI-driven tools to create standardized mzTab-M files.
- Successfully navigate the submission process for public repositories like MetaboLights.

Prerequisites:
- Basic understanding of Mass Spectrometry (MS) and metabolomics.
- Familiarity with data analysis concepts.
- For hands-on sessions: A laptop with required software pre-installed (instructions will be sent to registered participants), Wi-Fi will be available on site.
