Day 1, 26.9. : Introduction to Linux, command-line and standard-programs such as BEDtools
Day 2/3, 27-28.9. : Introduction to NGS Data Analysis; HTS applications (DeNovo Assembly, Gene prediction, Splice detection, Isoforms), Epigenetics, Quality Control, Adapter Clipping, read Mapping
Day 4, 29.9. : RNA-Seq; Sequencing, Mapping, Differential Expression Analysis (Exon-based and Transcript-based)
Day 5. 30.9.: Current Topics of RNA-Seq
Day 1-4 will be hands-on tutorials. On Day 5 we will host organized talks. We will start early on Day 1 (likely around 9:00 or 10:00). Participants will be able to leave during early afternoon on Day 5. Full schedules will be posted later on. Participants who are familiar with Linux and command-line interfaces may skip the first day.
