What is a "Software Carpentry Workshop"?
A Software Carpentry workshop is hands-on two-day event that covers the core skills needed to be productive in a small research team. Short tutorials alternate with practical exercises, and all instruction is done via live coding.
This workshop covers an introduction to UNIX (and Bash) in order to master Git, the version control system, which will be extensively covered during these two days. The second main topic is an introduction to programming with the Python programming language
